I'm not sure how much of this statement was seasoned with her frequent hearings of the Christmas story, with the angel telling Mary, and later the shepherds, to fear not, but either way, we're intrigued.
She was very insistent and seemed convinced that this angel had also visited everyone else's rooms to assure her (and the room's inhabitants) that all was well. To be honest, I'm not sure what to make of this Joan-of-Arc-esque revelation she's had, but as you said, I'm intrigued. Overactive imagination or actual visions, she's a constant amazement to us.
